It’s a little cooler that Tuesday but the rulings are still the same, bring plenty to drink and please wear the appropriate attire. Please do not just turn up in any sports clothing. Also, the Teen/Adult BJJ classes have been modified. Here are tonight’s classes:

4:30pm to 5:25pm - Junior & Teen TKD
5:30pm to 6:25pm - Junior & Teen BJJ NO-GI
6:30pm to 7:25pm - Teen & Adult TKD
7:30pm to 9:00pm - Teen & Adult BJJ NO-GI*

*there will be a taught session until 8:15pm at which point there will be an open mat. If members only which to attend the open mat, please arrive at 8:15pm.

Usual class times at Hamble Sports Complex this evening with the exception of BJJ classes being no-gi. See you there!!!

I got so engrossed in what was for me just short of 6 hours of TKD training, that I only took this one photo. There were so many details picked up as we progressed through the day, I hope that everyone didn’t get too overwhelmed. We are not an ITF club, but we are heavily based upon the Chang Hon system. This past year we have been enhancing what we already do with what I have been learning. It is a lot and it will take time but it can already been seen with what everyone is doing compared to last year’s seminars. I for one, did not want it to end, but there is only so much we can absorb at once. Thank you once again to Master Peter Whitehead of for coming down and sharing some of what you know of ITF TKD. And thank you to the members of Vanguard Martial Arts for joining us again.
I hope everyone enjoyed their day and learned a something from it.

Beginning of a term for our After School Clubs and what better way to start than awarding some new belts to those who levelled up before Easter

Usual TKD class timings today but the first 2 hours will be focused on the White to Blue Belts Grading. The last 2 hours will be Squad Training focus:

9am - Ages 8 and under*
10am - Ages 8 and over*
11am - All Ages
12pm - All Ages (must have sparring gear)

*if you are a level grade and 9 years old, please attend the 9am class where possible.
