We offer bursaries to eligible students to help with the real costs of studying, including travel, course materials, educational trips, university progression, meals and childcare support.

🎉 Congratulations to Hugh Coomer and Isaac Linklater, this year's recipients of the Vale Kingston Awards!

The awards recognise students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, commitment and determination throughout their time at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College.

From presenting at an international conference to securing a place at the University of Cambridge, Hugh and Isaac have achieved incredible success, and we couldn't be prouder.
Their achievements reflect not only their hard work, but also the lasting legacy of Miss Vale and Miss Kingston, whose belief that education should be accessible to all continues to inspire our college today.

🌟 What a performance from our Performing Arts - Musical Theatre students!
Our recent production of Carrie: The Musical not only wowed audiences across four shows, but also caught the attention of Marcos D’Cruze from D’Cruze Agency, who praised the cast for their strong, professional standard.

From combat workshops to intensive rehearsals and expert guidance from industry professionals, our students rose to every challenge with energy, focus and real talent.
A special highlight included support from West End actress Evelyn Hoskins, who shared invaluable insight with our leading lady, Florrie Hannan-Wood.

We are incredibly proud of every student involved. The future of performing arts is looking bright ✨

We’ve recently invited applicants to join us at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College for our upcoming Applicant Day. If your young person hasn’t engaged with us recently, they may not have received an invitation, and we’d hate for them to miss out.

Applicant Day is a fantastic opportunity for students and parents/carers to explore our courses, meet our welcoming staff, and experience what college life is really like. It’s a chance to see the supportive environment where students are known as individuals and encouraged to succeed.

Even if your young person is considering another college, visiting different options can help them feel confident and reassured about their decision.

Attending does not commit them to enrolling in August, it’s simply an opportunity to explore, ask questions, and feel prepared for what comes next.
