🚨 MYSTERY IN YEAR 3! 🚨

Something very strange happened at school overnight...
A slimy green trail was discovered leading from a playground drain, along with chewed pieces of golden toast and mysterious green footprints! The area was quickly cordoned off while staff investigated.

The trail continued down the Year 3 corridor and into the hall, where chaos had erupted! Chairs and tables were overturned, lunch crates had been thrown around, pages from Krindlekrax had been ripped up, and there was even a broken assembly screen!

Could the fearsome Krindlekrax have paid us a visit? πŸ‘€πŸŠ
Year 3 are now taking on the role of police investigators and will be writing police reports to help track down the culprit before he terrorises the area again!

Some of our Year 6 children had a fantastic day at Solent University taking part in a variety of multi-sports activities. They enjoyed trying archery, axe throwing, cricket, indoor curling, and a range of team-building exercises.

The children represented our school brilliantly, showing great energy, effort, and teamwork throughout the day while working alongside pupils from other schools.

Well done to everyone involved – you should be very proud of yourselves! πŸ‘πŸΉπŸ

Visit from Corky!

Last week, Year 3 was very lucky to welcome Corky, who spent time with the children answering their fantastic questions about his adventures in the sewers and his encounter with the fearsome Krindlekrax! 🐊

The children were full of curiosity and loved hearing Corky's stories, learning more about the events from Krindlekrax, and discovering what it was really like exploring the dark tunnels beneath the town and coming face-to-face with the terrifying crocodile.

A huge thank you to Corky for sharing his experiences and inspiring our young readers. The children had a wonderful time and are even more excited to continue their reading journey! πŸ“–β

🌟 We are so proud of Year 5 for their fantastic History learning this term, focusing on the Ancient Maya. The children have explored where the Maya civilisation was located, how the landscape shaped daily life, and how Maya society was ruled, including the role of kings and hierarchy.

🎨 As a cross-curricular link with Art, they also created beautiful Mayan stelae using clay, carefully choosing symbolic animals and vibrant colours. Their creativity, skill and attention to detail have been wonderful to see.

πŸ‘ Well done, Year 5 - your enthusiasm and hard work have shone through.

What an amazing Egyptian Day we had at school before half term!✨

The children looked fantastic in their incredible costumes, and it was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm throughout the whole day. Everyone had great fun learning about Ancient Egyptian pyramids and designing and creating their very own shell structure pyramids! πŸ”Ί

A huge well done to all the children for their hard work and imagination, and thank you to families for helping with the brilliant costumes. It was a day full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories!
