Little Scholars After school club "Little Scholars" is an After School And breakfast club ,exclusively for school aged children from Locks Heath School

"Little Scholars"
A home based "After School" and "Breakfast Club" , for children from reception year upwards. Little Scholars aims to provide a "home from home" , fun and relaxing environment for children in that transitional time between home and school. I take only a small group of children for both breakfast club and for After school care and am situated within walking distance of Locks Heath junior and Infant school. This allows us to have an enjoyable walk to and from school each day. Our Breakfast club is a sociable time where children are able to choose from a variety of breakfast cereals, toast, crumpets, pancakes and fruit or if they prefer can bring their own special favorites . The After School Club provides a selection of fun, creative or relaxing activities, which ever your child chooses. Activities each day vary, from "Creative Arts and Crafts", Cooking, Board games, Puzzles, Imaginative and Construction play activities. An cosy area is created for children to relax, play on the computer, watch TV, read or do their homework. When the weather is good, the bi fold doors are open for children who would like to take their activities outside and enjoy some fresh air.

A Creative Start to the Day

Breakfast Club transformed into a mini engineering studio as children explored 3‑D building with mini marshmallows and cocktail sticks sparking
imagination, teamwork, and plenty of sticky fingers as everyone experimented with shapes and structures.

*Towers, bridges, cubes, and pyramids

*How triangles help structures stay strong

*Fixing wobbles and collapses through trial and error

*Sharing ideas and building together

🎄✨ Little Scholar Christmas Art Magic! ✨🎄

Our amazing Little Scholars created the most adorable reindeer-in-the-forest paintings today — and their creativity was off the charts! 🌟
They followed the steps beautifully, added their own festive flair, and produced reindeer so magical I’m convinced at least one tried to join Santa’s sleigh. 🦌💫

So proud of their creativity, sparkle, and Christmas cheer! 🎨❤️✨
