🌞💙 Thank You for an Amazing Year! 💙🌞

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, everyone at the Rownhams School Association would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful school community.

To all the parents, carers, families, teachers, volunteers and, of course, our amazing children—thank you for supporting our events throughout the year. Whether you attended our discos, our summer fair, brought tickets for the raffle or other fundraising activities, every ticket bought, donation made, hour volunteered, and cheer from the sidelines has helped make a real difference to our school.

Your generosity, enthusiasm and continued support enable us to create memorable experiences for the children and raise valuable funds for the school. We couldn’t do it without you!

We hope you all have a fantastic, safe and well-deserved summer holiday, filled with fun, relaxation and special memories.

🎓✨ Good Luck, Year 6! ✨🎓

Today we celebrate and say goodbye to our amazing Year 6 at Rownhams St John’s C of E Primary School.

You started your primary school journey with us back in 2019, and not long afterwards, the world changed in ways none of us could have imagined. Through the challenges of Covid, home learning, and time spent apart, you showed incredible resilience, determination, and kindness. Together, you adapted, supported one another, and grew stronger.

Since then, you’ve filled our school with laughter and unforgettable memories—from classroom achievements and exciting trips to Christmas performances, sports days, and, of course, the school discos where the dance floor was always full of smiles and fun!

You’ve grown into confident, caring, and inspiring young people, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved.

As you head off to secondary school, take with you the friendships you’ve made, the lessons you’ve learned, and the confidence to embrace every new opportunity. We know you’ll continue to shine wherever your journey takes you.

Thank you for being such a special part of our school family. We wish each and every one of you the very best of luck and happiness for the future.

As our Summer Team comes to an end, we’re asking for your help.

Do you have school uniform with the current school logo that no longer fits? Instead of letting it sit in a cupboard, donate it to help support families in our school community. 💙

♻️ Give your uniform a second life while helping another family.

📍 Drop off your donations:
• In the collection box outside Team Rowan on the playground
• Or at the School Office

We’ll sort, store, and redistribute all donated uniform to families who need it.

🍦 Join us for our final Ice Cream Friday! 🍦

What a fantastic run it’s been! We kicked off on 17th April with , and now it’s time for our last Ice Cream Friday of the term. Let’s make it our biggest one yet!

Come along after school, treat yourself to a delicious ice cream, and help us finish on a high. 🍦☀️

Even better… every ice cream you buy helps support our school! 💛

We’re delighted that 20% of all takings will be donated to the school, helping to fund:

🌞🎉 Today’s the day – it’s finally here! Summer Fair is here! 🎉🌞

Join us today from 12pm–3pm for an afternoon packed with fun for the whole family! 🥳

✨ Lots of exciting stalls
🎭 Entertainment for all ages
🍰 Delicious refreshments
🎈 Games, activities and so much more!

📍 Entrance is via the Bakers Drove pedestrian gate only. You’ll be able to access the field through the playground, where our friendly volunteers will be there to welcome you!

⭐️ A few reminders before you come:

💷 Please bring cash if you can. We do have 3 card machines available for card and phone payments, but they can be a little slow.

🚶 If possible, please walk to the Fair. If you do need to drive, please be considerate of our neighbours and park respectfully. There is no parking available on the school site.

🐶 Please remember that dogs are not permitted on site.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a fantastic afternoon of fun. Bring your family and friends and come along to support the school! ☀️🎪🍦
