Activities Week is an important part of welcoming our new Year 7 students to our Senior school.

Our Head of Year 7, Mrs Crowther, filled the week with opportunities for our Class of 2031 to make new friends, take on new challenges, and get to know their teachers and the school grounds. They took part in team-building activities, raft building, paddle boarding and sailing, and had an exciting trip to New Forest Water Park, there was never a dull moment!

The week finished with a pizza-making session, cooked in our outdoor pizza oven. We hope everyone had an amazing time.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September!

Wishing our students and families a wonderful summer. ☀️

The 20-Minute Summer Reading Challenge

This summer, we are challenging every family in our school community to put reading at the heart of each day - for just 20 minutes.

Let's swap a little screen time for story time, discover new ideas together, and return in September with minds full of adventures, knowledge, and inspiration.

To find out more about the challenge and to read the Summer Reading Blog by our School Librarian, Ms King, please visit our website.

As we reach the end of another memorable school year, I would like to thank our incredible students, families and staff for being part of our Gregg School community.

From celebrating our Year 11s completing their GCSEs, to Outdoor Learning lessons in our woodlands and gardens, trips, performances, achievements and countless everyday successes, this year has been full of experiences to remember.

I am proud of the young people I see growing here every day - resilient, aspirational, kind and ready for life. Thank you to our parents for your continued support and partnership; together we help every child to thrive.

With exciting developments starting to take shape across our campus, ahead of welcoming our Prep School community in September, we're looking forward to the next chapter.

For now though, I would like to wish all our families a happy, restful and well-deserved summer break.

From beach games and 3D swings on the Isle of Wight, to conquering Pen y Fan in Wales, exploring Paris and Disneyland, sailing, team building and trampolining closer to home - our students have had an unforgettable Adventure Week. 🌊⛰️🇫🇷⛵

These are just a few highlights from a week packed with exciting activities and so much fun!

Most importantly, our students have created memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to all the staff who organised and accompanied the trips and activities - we couldn't do it without you!

Yesterday our Year 7s spent the morning on the beach with kayaking and Giant SUP games followed by fun in the sun and finished with a camp fire to celebrate the last night of camp.

Year 9 Camp Week 🇫🇷

Today began with a late breakfast and heading off to do some shopping in Val D'Europe - a huge shopping complex that provided welcome relief from the 34 degree heat! 🛍️

Afterwards, they headed into Paris (with a birthday sing-a-long en route) and boarded the Bateaux Parisiens for their voyage along the Seine. They saw Notre Dame, the Grand Palais, the Louvre, the Musée D'Orsay, the Place de la Concorde and of course... the Eiffel Tower!

Tonight they have dinner and a disco to look foward to! ❤️✨ 🇫🇷

Our Year 9s have had such a ✨magical ✨ day at Disneyland Paris : boat rides through Arendelle, rocketing up Hyperspace Mountain, entering the fourth dimension through the Tower of Terror, and shopping 'til they drop in the Emporium!

They are exhausted but ready for dinner and an evening swim.

Tomorrow, into Paris again. La vie est belle! 🇫🇷
