Our cricketers played in the District Cricket Final on Friday, finishing as runners-up for the second year in a row.

An incredible effort from the whole team, with everyone making valuable contributions on the day.

A special mention to Lizzy and Zach, who both scored their first runs for Gregg today and to Alex, our Player of the Match, for a superb spell of bowling.

Well done team! 🏏

Welcome Back!

It was wonderful to welcome our Prep and Senior pupils at the start of a new academic year.

Despite the wet and windy weather, it was fantastic to see our entire school community together on one campus, following the tremendous effort involved in relocating our Prep School over the summer.

We are delighted to begin this new chapter together and look forward to an exciting year ahead!

Wouldn’t it be nice to secure your child’s senior school place at a time that is convenient to you?

We think so!

The Gregg School are inviting families to book their child in for a Year 6 Entrance Assessment - taking place regularly from September through to June.

Our assessments consider the child’s current age so they have the same advantage if they take it early in the academic year, plus the whole family gets peace of mind that their important senior school decision has been made.

We were all smiles this morning, as our fantastic students came to receive their GCSE results. We have so much admiration for our Year 11 cohort who proved that committing to hard work leads to successful results. Overall, 90% of our students achieved five or more Grade 4+ grades, impressive for a non-academically selective school, while nearly one-third of all grades awarded were Grades 7-9.

Headteacher, Mrs Sellers, summed it up by saying:
“We know our students really well. We have challenged them since Year 7 to aspire to exceed their original GCSE expectations, and they have certainly proved that to us today! Nothing makes me more proud. Not only are they leaving The Gregg armed with great results, but they are strong, well developed young people who are absolutely ready and prepared for their next steps. I wish them every success in their exciting new journeys and look forward to celebrating with them in the autumn.”

Congratulations to our Class of 2026, we are proud of you!
