Public speaking group for those who want to improve their confidence, speaking and leadership skills, in Southampton,
at The Atherley Bowling Club

Hamwic Speakers is the Southampton branch of the Toastmasters International public speaking club. We meet online every Tuesday of the month at 7.15pm. We welcome visitors and guests. We are open to everyone. For up to date meeting information email [email protected]

We help our members learn how to successfully formulate, express and sell their ideas and themselves and overcome nervousness when speaking in public. You can also improve your ability to listen and evaluate other people’s ideas. Members can also develop vital leadership skills by taking on one of the officer roles available at every meeting. The Toastmasters organisation makes some great resources and techniques available to members, but it is up to you how you use them and how fast you progress. We are a friendly and motivated bunch of people, and we'd really like you to come along to one of our meetings and see what a great buzz there is in the air.
