Join us for a dynamic and inclusive Debate Workshop where we’ll explore these questions and more — together.

🌟 Everyone is welcome — whether you're just curious, completely new to the topic, or have experience with AI.
🎭 Roles in the debate will be assigned based on your background and interests.
💡 If you have a little experience or professional experience with AI, please let us know — it helps us tailor the event better!

🌳Celebrating a wonderful Toastmasters year in the great outdoors at the Cammon Park! 🌳

Amidst shared food and a relaxed vibe, we enjoyed speeches under the open sky and engaging evaluations. This way of celebrating the end of the Toastmasters year became a custom for Hamwic. 🎉

Our heartfelt thanks to Gia Lili Ganger for her exceptional leadership as she passes the torch to our new president, Kate Fraser-Smith, starting July 1st. 🌟👏

AN AMAZING EVENING AT HAMWIC SPEAKERS! 🎉

We had 17 enthusiastic attendees at our in-person meeting on 11th June.

🌟 Our fabulous President, Gia Lili Ganger, delivered a heartfelt speech titled, 'Reflections and Recognition – My Honest Account of Mentoring a Long Term Mentee.' At Hamwic, we pride ourselves on providing mentoring for every new member, ensuring growth and support throughout their journey.

🌟 George Weller challenged himself with a speech aimed at demonstrating his ability to engage with a difficult audience – and he nailed it!

🌟 Karen Brown grabbed our attention with her effectively presented story.

🌟 Joe Hattersley presented a new and improved version of his speech about examining the labels that might limit us, offering insightful reflections.

Among others Table Topics speakers, Lulu Wang shared her experience from China, where paying for things with facial recognition is common, contrasting it with situations of feeding pound coins into a meter in this country.
