I am 34 years old Ofsted registered childminder living in the Townhill area. Living with my 7 year old son,4 year old daughter and my partner who works with me as assistant. I moved to Southampton a number of years ago to complete my zoology degree at the university and fell in love in the area so never left. I have since worked in Africa, finished my Science post graduate certificate in education qualification specializing in physics and gained my qualified teacher status. Since qualifying I have taught science in a variety of secondary schools and tutored many lovely children, ages ranging from 8 to 16 in the core subjects, science, English and maths with great success. I have now completed my NCFE Cache level 3 childminding qualification and paediatric first training. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and i am now ready to start childinding in my own home.I have an enlcosed grassed back garden. large spacious play room with a variety of toys and reources. Large car with full license so able to offer daytrips

My aim is to provide high quality care and education for children of all age groups. To work in partnership with parents and other practitioners to help children to learn and develop; to add to the life and well-being of the local community and to offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity. I can offer:
wrap around school care (before and after school)
term care
some holiday care
school pick up and drop off ( moorlands primary school and townhill infant and juniors)
Local nursery and preschool pick up
meals (hot and cold)
own car with car seats


I can also provide tutoring for variety of ages and subjects (KS2, 3 and 4) by request
