A big thank you to all the dads, grandads, and special father figures who joined us for our Father's Day Stay and Play session today.
It was wonderful to see so many families spending quality time together, enjoying the activities, getting creative, and making special memories with their children here at nursery. The children loved sharing their nursery environment with you and showing off all the fun things they enjoy each day.
We hope you had a lovely time and enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with us. Thank you for helping to make the afternoon so special! π

π¦ΈββοΈπ¦· Hampshire Healthy Heroes Visit π¦·π¦ΈββοΈ
Today, our Pre-School children enjoyed a visit from Hampshire Healthy Heroes, who spent the morning teaching us all about the importance of oral hygiene and staying active.
Hampshire Healthy Heroes works with Early Years settings to support healthy starts for young children, helping to improve emotional, physical, and dental health outcomes.
The session was delivered in a fun and interactive way, allowing the children to learn about healthy habits and why it's important to look after their bodies and teeth. Through engaging activities and discussions, the children gained valuable knowledge that they can continue to develop at home with the support of their parents, carers, and Early Years practitioners.
We had a fantastic morning and would like to thank Hampshire Healthy Heroes for visiting us and helping our children become healthy heroes too! β

π Meet Talia β Our New Baby Room Apprentice! π
We are delighted to welcome Talia to our nursery team as our new Baby Room Apprentice! π
Talia's first day with us will be Wednesday 17th June, and we are excited for both the children and team to get to know her.
To help her settle into her new role, Talia will spend her first three days in the office completing her induction and a range of online training courses. This will help prepare her for her first experiences working within the room and ensure she feels confident and ready to support our children.
As part of her preparation, Talia has already completed her Level 1 Makaton Training alongside the team, demonstrating her commitment to supporting communication and inclusion within our nursery. π
Once she begins working in the Baby Room, Talia will be closely coached and mentored by Tasmina, who will support her throughout her apprenticeship journey and help her develop her skills and knowledge.
We are very excited to have Talia join our nursery family and look forward to watching her grow and thrive in her new role. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! π

π¦ Ice Cream Parlour Fun in Waddlers! π¦
Today, our Waddler children enjoyed exploring an ice cream parlour role-play activity. The children loved using the scoops to pick up the pretend ice cream and place it into cones and bowls.
This simple activity helped to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early imaginative play as they explored the different resources and interacted with their friends and team members.
There were lots of smiles, laughter, and excitement as the children discovered and explored the ice cream parlour together. Great fun was had by all! ππ¨
