Corn Class enjoyed a trip to the SeaCity Museum on Monday. They applied their history knowledge and joined in with a range of interesting activities! 🚢 📝

We are really excited to let you know that we have the Scholastic Book Fair coming into school soon.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be running on Tuesday, 12th May and Thursday, 14th May from 3.20 - 3.45 pm.

Weather permitting we will hold the book fair either on the main playground behind the school (near the MUGA) or in the library (we will confirm the location closer to the time).

Every book you purchase at the fair can help our school get free books.

Please remember that we are now a cash free school, so we will only be able to accept your card payments. Scholastic will provide us with a card reader machine to process both debit and credit card payments.

To our wonderful Year 6’s! 💜

Year 5 had an out-of-this-world experience at Wi******er Science Centre as part of their Earth & Space topic! 🚀✨ From exploring the wonders of the universe to hands-on science fun, it was a day full of discovery and excitement. 🌍🔭

As well our dancers, we also wanted to give a massive shout out to our wonderful Dance Live technical team made up of students Phoebe and Preston! These two worked SO hard on coming up with the lighting and perfecting it. They also helped with the journey video, voice overs, props and green screen. It’s often forgotten that students do the technical side of Dance Live as well but they did such a professional job of it! Super proud of you both ✨✨✨

Dance Live Finals 🏆
Our amazing Dance Live Team danced their socks off again last night. Despite no placing on the night, we are super proud of their performance and especially proud of the characterisation they bought to the stage that we worked so hard on for the last few weeks! Well done Team Wellstead!

A fun morning of den building before our last lunch and then hometime! What an amazing few days we have had at Minstead.

Lots of fun on the first day back working on our growth mindsets!
Year 6 were making marble runs. They encountered lots of challenges and found it really tested them but they used their growth mindsets to overcome each problem!
Year 4 were using lego to make islands that could withstand disasters. They demonstrated great teamwork and had to use their growth mindset to adapt and overcome various situations!
