Today we kicked off our first Woodlands World Cup match! It was Yellows Vs Green shirts and the children LOVED kicking the footballs around and trying to score a goal! Our manager Tash has advised Goalie Swade she needs to up her practice sessions as the Busy Bees won!!! Well done Busy Bees! ⚽️

This beautiful weather is giving us flashbacks to our Wild West Family Fun Day at the end of May! ☀️🤠

We had an amazing day filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of cowboy-themed adventures. It was wonderful to see so many of our children, parents, and families coming together to enjoy the day and create special memories.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fantastic event. Seeing our nursery community come together is always so special, and we loved every minute of it! ❤️🌵⭐

This morning some of our baby bee’s have been busy getting messy exploring their very own dinosaur land messy tray. They used their fine motor skills and a variety of dinosaur’s to explore the land. They loved getting messy along the way with the children safe shaving foam as the water and oobleck as the land, along with different textures of wheetabix and oats to create different landscapes. Good job Baby Bee’s!🐝

This morning our Busy bees have been exploring their very own ice cream messy tray. They used children safe shaving foam, Rice Krispies and rice as sprinkles to make their own ice creams. They extended their learning by making their very own ice lollies made up of strawberries, raspberries and yogurt. Busy bees did amazing with keeping safe whilst chopping the fruit and telling us what they would like to put in their ice lollies. We then put them in the freezer ready for their afternoon snack. Well done Busy Bees! 🐝

The special of the day is Busy’s very own watermelon and cucumber soup! They thought it was Best to make a Gazpacho ( cold soup) so they could cool down … well done Busy Bees !

Today our Busy Bees went on a walk to see if they could find the new fairy garden! They did a great job and found the houses and animals ! Well done Busy Bees !

What a glorious few weeks we have had at Woodlands and Woodlands Also! The sun has been shining and both nurseries have seen some amazing activities for the children to enjoy!

Spring filled the air across both nurseries last week and the children took part is some egg-cellent activities !!
Our Busy Bees did a egg hunt and used their skills to hunt and find the hidden eggs. Busy Bees explored Easter themed tuff trays full of spring colours and textures. The week was then finished off with delicious Easter themed nest cakes for them to take home and enjoy with family. What did you get up to this Bank holiday ?
