What a fantastic way to end the school year with our annual Big Picnic! ☀️🎉

It was a brilliant afternoon filled with live music, inflatables, delicious food and plenty of fun, giving our students the perfect opportunity to celebrate another successful year together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success.

We wish all of our BPS community a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer. We look forward to welcoming our students back to school on Wednesday 2nd September.

🌊☀️ Our Year 10 geographers recently headed to Boscombe and Bournemouth for their GCSE fieldwork.

During the trip, students investigated the direction of longshore drift and explored the regeneration of Bournemouth, applying their classroom learning to a real coastal environment.

Despite the very hot and sunny weather, our students were fantastic throughout and represented the school brilliantly. Well done, Year 10! 👏

Join us tomorrow for our final reveal...

On Tuesday, we took a group of students to MAST Studios for a backstage theatre workshop and tour. The students had the opportunity to experiment with and explore a variety of technical theatre elements, gaining a real insight into what happens behind the scenes. They represented the school brilliantly throughout the visit and had a fantastic time learning new skills and experiences. Well done to all involved! 🎭✨

On Friday, 14 of our Year 7 students took part in the HLMAP Study Day, hosted here at Bitterne Park School alongside students from two other schools.

Throughout the day, they explored real-life applications of proportion through a range of practical activities, including making squash and sharing baguettes. The day ended with an exciting maths relay, which was a highlight for everyone involved!

Well done to all of the students who took part and represented the school so brilliantly. 👏
