📱 Online Safety Alert for Parents and Carers

We would like to make you aware of the emerging "Cat in the Hat" social media trend, which may encourage risky behaviour among children and young people.

Please take a few moments to read the attached posters and use them as an opportunity to talk with your child about online safety, responsible social media use, and the importance of making safe choices online.

Regular conversations together, alongside healthy screen time boundaries, can help children navigate the online world safely and confidently.

Mirror Mirror - A positive self-image is important for the continued development of a healthy mind. Positive self-talk boosts our confidence levels, trains solution thinking and improves personal performance. Say nice to things to yourself, even in the mirror.

Big Voice - Challenge builds motivation but if the challenge seems to demanding we can feel like giving up. But challenges can become opportunities to motivate ourselves to push through. Believe in yourself; say 'I can do it'.
