We would like to inform everyone that we are OFFICIALLY GOOD CHILDMINDERS! (And we’re extremely close to outstanding) As many of you know we both have been recently inspected and were over the moon with the feedback that we received by the inspector on the day. I am proud of our ‘calm and welcoming environment’ and our ‘ambitious curriculum,’ alongside our ‘positive relationship with parents that supports a consistent approach to child’s overall care and learning.’
The comments on our relationship with each other were beautiful and I thank my lucky stars that Lovely Lynna walked into my life many years ago now 🥰

This is both links to our reports that are now LIVE 🥳

Wanted a wet walk today to splash in puddles but we only found one tiny one 😂 instead we did explore our local area and find squirrels, bees, dogs, ladybirds, birds and even cows!

Practising some simple fine motor activities today using pipe cleaners, resources with holes and multigrain hoops.

This has now moved forward to creating a worm house with the pipe cleaners and sieve along with selected resources around the room, a storytime of Superworm and some exploration of our non fiction books to find out some fun facts about worms.

What a great example of child-led play which promotes skills including problem solving, creative and imaginative learning and perseverance to name just a few. This also helps them to learn first hand experiences, and allows them to self select how to use their resources.
