The laser tag arena is fully set up, equipment is charged, and we are ready for an epic day! As part of our Year 7 Team Building Days, our students are about to test their teamwork, strategy, and agility.

Our annual Race for Life event is coming up on Monday 21 September at 15:15 out on the field hoping to raise £2000 for the critical work of cancer research UK. Students must sign up on the Google Form to walk or run the 5km distance as part of this House Competition event. We'd love you to get behind them with encouragement and sponsors to make a difference for others. A quarter of a century has almost passed since the devastating 9/11 attacks and its impacts are still felt the world over. During Period 1 our students have been learning about the events of the attack and how it has shaped the world they have grown up in. We commemorate this anniversary by remembering those whose lives were lost & those who served such that their lives and actions shall never be forgotten.

The Summer holidays are the best time to lock in Year 10 work experience. Spaces in our local area fill up fast and competition is high, so getting in early makes a huge difference. A step-by-step flowchart on how to log the placement on Unifrog once secured was included in the letter emailed home and has been shared via students google classroom. If it is not uploaded to Unifrog it will not be an authorised placement.

IMPORTANT
Only upload to Unifrog after the employer has officially agreed to take you on.
❌ Do NOT upload places you’ve just applied to or are waiting to hear back from.
✅ DO upload once you have a definite "YES!" from the employer.
