As local parents ourselves we understand all the emotions of sending our little ones to school for the first time, particularly following the craziness of the last couple of years!

We would love to help your little ones meet and play with their new classmates and for you to meet some of the parents.

In order to make the experience really beneficial we have decided to organise 👧CLASS MEETUPS👦, rather than year group ones. This way you will be able to meet the actual children and parents that will be part of your school family for at least their first year.

As well as the 90-minute session playing in our little village, we will also set out some colouring activities specific to your children’s class or school values. So, whether your child is going to Jellyfish class or Penguins, we will have some colouring pages to reflect this. We are also hoping to have some preloved uniform to buy on the day.

The sessions will be in the afternoon’s w/c 25th July through to w/c 22nd August.
I believe most of you will know your child’s class by 11th July at which point we will open up the bookings.

We will have a limited number of spaces for each session, so we will be asking that just one parent attends with their child starting reception. Should we have spaces still available we may be able to open this up to siblings. Babes in arms do not need to be counted.
We may have to open spaces up to the public if there isn’t enough take up, so please book early and spread the word!
We will post the class session dates in June and let you know how to book.

🐰 EASTER EGG HUNT 🐣

Come and join us at Holly Hill for an Easter egg hunt for the chance to win our ultimate Easter Hamper! All you have to do is:

⭐️ Go to reception and pick up a tick sheet
⭐️ Look for the eggs which are numbered
⭐️ Answer the questions
⭐️ Head back to the Leisure Centre and hand in your sheet! And that’s it!

All sheets will be entered into a draw for the chance to win our Easter Hamper! The hunt will start on Friday the 15th and finish on Sunday the 24th so you have 9 days to get in on the fun!

We’ve been reading Percy the Parkkeeper books at Ducklings and the National Trust at the Vyne and Mottisfont are doing some trails related to Percy.
