St Christopher's Pre-School We provide a safe, secure and friendly environment in which you are assured your child will learn and grow. Established in 1970 St.

Christopher's Pre-School is a thriving group catering for pre-school children in Thornhill, Southampton and is situated within walking distance to the local primary schools. The Pre-School is a non-profit making charity who are administered by a volunteer Management Committee made up of parents, ex-parents and interested individuals, therefore all decisions made are for the sole benefit of the children rather than a profit making individual. We cater for children from two to four years of age and have a high adult ratio of 1:4 for two year olds and 1:8 for three and four year olds. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure and friendly environment in which you are assured your child will learn and grow. We value each child as an individual and understand and support each child to blossom and develop.

Just a reminder of our term dates.

We finish this school year on the 17th of July.
Our party for our school leavers is 2-4pm 🎈

We return on the 1st of September 2026.
October half term is the 19th-30th October.

We return on the 2nd of November 2026.

We finish for Christmas on the 18th of December 2026.🎅
And return back to preschool on the 4th of January 2027.📚

Coming up next at St Christopher’s,

Sunday at 10 is our service with Holy Communion. We are happy to be welcoming several children to the service where they spend some time crafting and learning about Jesus.

Tea and coffee and a special Pentecost lunch will be served in the hall afterwards, you are invited to contribute something (finger foods) towards this multicultural feast.

Looking ahead, on Tuesday next week it will be our Activity morning for the children of Thornhill (with parents) to enjoy some crafts and activities. See poster for details.
