Slightly late, but it's great to finally have the 2025-2026 season wrapped up! ✅️ With the past year being one of the busiest, yet most rewarding, of my coaching journey 📈

Xcel Performance Coaching has continued to go from strength to strength, whilst also marking my return to Southampton FC. With the latter already providing countless opportunities and experiences, but most importantly has coincided with the privilege of continuing to develop as a coach within the Academy pathway, working with fantastic young players in the Pre-Academy and supporting those at the very beginning of their journey with the club 😇

Now, the focus turns to 2026-2027! 📅

For which I'm incredibly excited to see our Xcel Performance Coaching evening centres and Xcel FC players continue their development, embrace new opportunities within my role at Southampton FC, and welcome further young players into the Academy pathway - with the new age groups beginning this evening 🙌

Alongside this, I'm also looking forward to continuing to grow JT Coaching, starting with limited availability for 1-to-1 and small group coaching sessions over the coming weeks. So, if you're looking for individualised coaching to help take your game to the next level, I'd love to hear from you - and please get in touch directly and as soon as possible to secure your space 📲

Superb round of fixtures down at Staplewood this morning with our U7’s pre-academy group! 😇

The boys had to battle and adapt against different opposition as well as the heat! 💪🔥

Really pleasing to see how they stood up to and embraced those challenges, and rewarding to watch their performances - especially in the way they demonstrated the key tactical aspects set out for them! ⚽️

Looking forward to the return of our Xcel FC camps, specifically setup for those either currently apart of our Xcel FC programme, or looking to join for the 2026-2027 season! 🙌

We’re excited to announce our 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 Player Development Camp taking place next week during half term! 🔥

📅 Thursday the 28th of May!
📍 The Bay CE School - Community Facilities!
⏰ 12:30pm-6:00pm!

The camp is open to both current 𝙓𝙘𝙚𝙡 𝙁𝘾 U11's - U13’s players, and those interested in joining us next season for U12’s - U14’s! 🙌

Whilst throughout the day, players will take part in a variety of technical and tactical practices, activities, and game-related sessions, all designed to help prepare for the season ahead! 📈

Specific focus areas include ⬇️

✅ 9v9 session work for U11’s & U12’s
✅ 11v11 session work for U13’s
⚽️ Technical development
🧠 Tactical understanding
🏆 Match preparation and decision making

This is a fantastic opportunity for players to continue developing, prepare for the next level, and experience the Xcel Performance Coaching environment ahead of the new season! 👊

This time last week 🔄

Fantastic day for the Southampton FC & Manchester United Legends game, with arguably the best moment having the chance to get a photo with one of my favourite players growing up - Dimitar Berbatov! 🇧🇬

Proud to be part of such a memorable and iconic occasion yesterday, supporting the Southampton FC Legends team against Manchester United Legends at St Mary’s Stadium, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the club’s historic 1976 FA Cup Final victory! 😇🏆

Absolutely delighted to share that in addition to my current role as Football Development Officer, I've now also successfully started as a Pre-Academy Coach at Southampton FC! 😇

This see's two action packed days planned and available for interested players currently U8/Year 3 through to U13/Year 9, taking place on the dates below ⬇️

Both days will be taking place at The Bay CE School - Community Facilities, starting at 10am and finishing at 3pm - and will include a range of development focused sessions, fun and engaging football activities, as well as small-sided games, tournaments, challenges and competitions! ⚽️
