To celebrate the children’s musical achievements this year, we are delighted to be hosting two concerts on Thursday 9th July.
All Year 3 children will be performing what they have been learning in their weekly In2Music sessions. This concert will begin at 1:30pm and will last for approximately 30 minutes.
Children in Years 4, 5 and 6, along with some Year 3 pupils who take peripatetic lessons, will take part in a concert to showcase their wonderful skills. This will start at 2:30pm and will also last around 30 minutes.
We would love for you to join us and celebrate the children’s hard work and enthusiasm—please do pop the date in your diary!

In Year 6 yesterday, drawing self-portraits was more than just an art activity; it encouraged pupils to reflect on who they are as individuals. By closely observing their own features, they develop self-awareness and think about how they see themselves. Through self-reflection, pupils identified areas of strength and weakness. They then worked with learning partners to decide on next steps in order to improve on their weaknesses. Well done Year 6!

Year 3 have been reflecting on their first year at Sholing Junior School. We have been discussing how we felt at the beginning of the school year, how confident we feel now and how Year 2's might be feeling about coming up next year. We created our own guides for Year 3 at Sholing Junior School to support them in this transition.

The children in 5M thoroughly enjoyed their sports session at Itchen College just before half-term. They took part in fun ball games where they could show off their incredible teamwork skills and we are excited to try some of them in our future PE lessons!
