Feedback was given that children would like to know what reward they are aiming for.
We did...
We have planned the homework rewards in advance so the children can look forward to celebrating their achievements!

This term's reward will be...
GINGERBREAD DECORATING WORKSHOP!

Homework deadline: 7th December
Homework reward date: 11th December

Homework grids have veen sent out via Parentmail, are on the website and will be sent home as paper copies too.

Welcome back!
We hope you all had a lovely summer holiday!
It has been a calm and positive return to school and we have enjoyed seeing the children after a well earned break. The children have been learning new routines and working hard on their new class projects and we can't wait to see everything they will achieve this year.

Next week our meet the teacher events are being held on:
Monday 7th of September – Year 3
Tuesday 8th of September - Year 4
Thursday 10th of September - Year 5
Friday 11th of September - Year 6

Please wait at your child's classroom door at the end of the day and you will be invited into the classroom to see where they learn and hear all about your child's new teacher and their curriculum this year. You will also be given a calendar of events for the year along with lots of other useful information.

We can't wait to see you!

Year 6 have had a blast in Wales this week and are about to embark on their journey home. They have managed to keep cool in caves and waterfalls - what an experience!

This week the year 5 girls were lucky enough to take part in a STEM Day delivered by the Smallpiece Trust where they had an inspiring and hands-on engineering experience. The girls learnt about future career opportunities in STEM and had the opportunity to build their own cars out of simple materials, they then tested them down a ramp to see which car could protect an egg the best - most were successful! A huge well done to all of the girls for approaching the day with enthusiasm and showing brilliant team work.
