Another successful event celebrating diversity throughout our MAT!

During lunch time today, Amnesty Youth group and sixth form student volunteers ran another successful stall for Diversity week.

Today's focus was celebrating pride and LGBTQ+ rights. Students and staff came along to sign messages of positivity around the 'rainbow heart' to show solidarity and support for the community and celebrate that everyone is different.

There was a real buzz around the stall and a sense of togetherness - well done to all those involved!

A huge congratulations to our 12 School Direct trainees on qualifying as teachers and securing jobs for September. All of us at STA are immensely proud of your achievements and know you will make a difference to all of your future students!

We've been a little quiet lately on social media as we've been so busy interviewing. It's great to meet such wonderfully enthusiastic people who want to work with young people. Our team for next year is really growing!

We still have places available for Geography, Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, RE, English and History across our partner secondary schools.

We've had a great day bringing our School Direct cohort together for this academic year. They are a cracking team and we can't wait to see how well they progress as teachers!

It's a busy start to the new academic year - we look forward to seeing our new trainee teachers in just over a week's time and we are working on our recruitment process for the next cycle to open via UCAS in early October.
