Parents/Carers please check your emails to complete any links for the below reminder:

This is a reminder about Free School Meals (FSM). Under the new FSM rules, all households receiving Universal Credit now qualify, completely removing the previous £7,400 income cap.

If you have not yet applied, please do so as soon as possible. If your child was on Free School Meals last academic year, they do not automatically qualify for this year – everyone must be reassessed. Without an application, your child will not receive a free meal.

If there is any information you cannot find, or you are having problems understanding, contact [email protected] for help.

We would like to share a quick reminder about school attendance and the penalty notice process for leave of absence requests.
We understand that family time is important, especially around holidays. However, term-time leave can only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.

If you are unsure where your request sits within the process or need any support or advice, please do not hesitate to contact us via Email:

Our Year 11 Travel and Tourism students took a trip on the Nexus Ferry to learn all about how individuals with visual and hearing impairments can be catered for, on a ferry.

Students went behind the scenes in the wheelhouse of the vessel, they learned about how the ramp is deployed and also how accessibility is catered for such as the use of ear defenders and signage.

To really make the most of the visit, students tried on lifejackets and were invited into the captains driver room to honk the horn before departing!
