💛Last week on their way to Kids Club, our amazing children took time to spread a little joy by handing out daffodils and sweets to people they met along the way 🌼🍬
It was all part of celebrating Random Acts of Kindness, and what a beautiful reminder it was that even the smallest gestures can brighten someone’s day.

At Nursery we have had a super Minion World Book Day this year, dressing up as amazingly silly, banana- loving minions and Gru keeping us all in check!

The bright yellow outfits and goggles brought lots of smiles and excitement to the children, helping to create a fun and engaging atmosphere to celebrate books and stories. Dressing up as characters helps bring stories to life and encourages children to become more interested in books and reading.

World Book Day is a great opportunity to highlight the importance of reading with children from an early age. Sharing books helps to develop language skills, imagination, and creativity. When adults read with children, it also strengthens relationships and creates positive experiences around books. These early experiences help children build confidence, improve communication, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

In nursery, we support reading by sharing a variety of stories throughout the day, encouraging children to talk about pictures, predict what might happen next, and explore new vocabulary. Making reading fun, interactive, and part of everyday routines helps children see books as something enjoyable rather than something they have to do.

Celebrating World Book Day together reminds us how important stories are in helping children learn, grow, and develop their imagination.
