Join local author Bridget Hamilton for a Q&A session followed by an informal writing workshop based around her debut YA novel in verse, We Wait for the Stars. It explores themes of grief, joy and teenage firsts and is set in the North East. Bridget will be signing copies of the book and answering any questions you have. She will then lead a friendly writing session where you can have a go at creating your own narrative poem or short story.
Workshop is recommended for participants aged 13-18 years, and is free but we strongly recommend messaging us in advance to register your interest, as spaces are limited.

We can't wait to welcome Bridget and get our hands on her highly anticipated novel!
