‼️UNIFORM UPDATE: The new school badge has now been approved. The delay was due to one of the symbols not looking right when stitched; however, this has now been rectified. Graham at Initial Images has been getting stock ready over the last couple of days and should have jumpers and T-Shirts ready to take away from the store tomorrow. Bolam’s also has stock ready to go for PE kits. Thank you for your patience.‼️

School gates will open at 1:25pm. Please can you go straight to child’s classroom door. Staff on the yard will direct you. You will be asked to sign your child out of school. Once this is done, please make your way to field to find a spot for your picnic. Reminder that there is strictly no alcohol or va**ng allowed on the school site.

If you can’t attend and would like your child to go with another family, you must ring the school office and make us aware of this otherwise we can’t let your child go.

Last Tuesday, our school hosted the Rugby League Tournament, providing a fantastic opportunity for pupils across South Tyneside to compete and showcase their skills in the game. The event was a great success, with teams demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the day. We were especially proud of the two teams representing our school, who were outstanding ambassadors both on and off the field. Their positive attitudes, resilience and commitment reflected our school values brilliantly, and their efforts were rewarded with impressive 3rd and 4th place finishes. An excellent achievement by all involved and a wonderful celebration of school sport. 🥉🤩⭐️🤩🥉

🌟 What a Fantastic Three Sports Days! 🌟
A huge well done to all of our children and families for making this year's Sports Days such a tremendous success!

Across all three days, it was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship on display. Every child gave their best effort, supported their friends and embraced the spirit of healthy competition. From the running races and field events to the team challenges, there were countless moments of achievement, resilience and joy.

We are incredibly proud of how our pupils represented themselves throughout the week, showing respect, encouragement and positivity in every event. A special thank you to all the parents, carers and family members who came along to cheer the children on and make each day so special.

Most importantly, the smiles, laughter and sense of achievement seen across all three Sports Days remind us exactly what school sport is all about – participation, enjoyment and creating lasting lasting memories! 🏅🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️☀️

Reminder: It’s year 4’s Bike Ability session in school today. Please can children bring their bikes to school with them. 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️
