📚🌟 A Proud Moment for St Gregory’s! 🌟📚

We are absolutely delighted to see Arlo, one of our wonderful pupils, featured in The Guardian as part of the launch of The Queen’s Christmas Present – a national reading initiative led by the National Literacy Trust.

Arlo landed the role of promoting Katherine Rundell’s Impossible Creatures earlier this year in London, the book that is being gifted to Year 6 pupils across the UK through this exciting initiative to encourage a lifelong love of reading.

Seeing one of our own pupils featured in a national newspaper and helping to champion the importance of reading is a fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud of Arlo and the enthusiasm, confidence and love of books he brings to our school community.

Congratulations, Arlo! Thank you for being such a brilliant ambassador for St Gregory’s and for inspiring others to discover the joy of reading.

We are incredibly proud that all of our Year 6 pupils have achieved the Faith in Action Pin Award. This national Catholic award recognises the way our children live out their faith through prayer, service and acts of kindness.

Their Faith in Action pin badges will be presented at their secondary schools in the new academic year—a wonderful way to continue celebrating this special achievement.

What an amazing year we’ve had together! It has been such a joy to watch each and every one of you grow, learn, laugh, and make new friends. I am so proud of how kind, curious, and brave you have all become.

As you get ready to start Reception, remember to keep asking questions, keep trying your best, and never stop believing in yourselves. There will be so many exciting adventures ahead, and I know you are all more than ready for this next big step.
