Children have a wonderful way of reminding us to enjoy the moment, be creative and simply have fun.

Happy Saturday peeps! What's coming up.......

🎃 OUR AUTUMN TERM will be here before we know it!

If you spotted our big reveal earlier this week, you'll already know that our Atumn showstopper is our GIANT wooden pumpkin! 🎃❤️

But this isn't just a one-week activity…

Children joining us for the full Autumn term get to transform their our pumpkin week by week, using lots of different colourful and creative process art techniques.

Each week we'll add something new… and by the end of term our little ARTists will have their very own fabulous ARTventurers masterpiece! 🥰

And of course, that's only part of the fun! Our Autumn classes will be packed with more painting, creative play, sensory exploration, crafts and plenty of opportunities for your little ARTventurers to get gloriously messy. 🎨🙌

What an absolutely fun morning we had at our Toy Story-inspired Family ARTventurers holiday class at Whiteleas Community Centre! 🤠🚀💚

Our little ARTventurers got busy creating Mr Potato Head and Hamm inspired crafts, printed adorable sheep using potatoes and fingerprint aliens 👽

We even had our own "Andy's Room" footprints (and handprints!) 😁 to take home as a special keepsake.

There were smiles, giggles, painty fingers and plenty of imagination as everyone brought a little bit of Toy Story magic to life.

Marsden Road Community Centre will be hosting a Day Trip to
Scarborough
Tuesday 18th August 2026
8.00am - 6.30pm
Scarborough really does have it all; dramatic cliffs, award-winning beaches, historic harbour, great family attractions & a booming town centre. Scarborough is full of things to do, whatever the weather. Enjoy stunning beaches, promenades, gardens , Alpamare Waterpark, Scarborough Sealife and so much more.
There are many places to grab something to eat including Fish & Chips/ Cafe's/ Pub lunches & Restaurants (Not included in cost of day trip). There are also outdoor picnic spots if your bringing a packed lunch.

All passengers must be declared at booking
The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 8.00am and arrive back at approx. 6.30pm

Sometimes the biggest learning happens when it looks like they're simply having fun.

What a lovely afternoon we had at our arts and crafts class!

Our little ARTventurers created the most beautiful beach-themed suncatchers, and they looked absolutely fabulous! 🐢🪼🐚

Seeing your creations brightening up your homes is just the best feeling!
