🌍✨ Learning Through Culture Capital & Real-World Experiences ✨🌍
At Explorers, we are passionate about building cultural capital through meaningful, hands-on experiences that help our children connect with the world around them.
Throughout our days, the children take part in exciting visits within our local environment, including trips to the fruit and vegetable stall, where they have the opportunity to explore, choose, and purchase fresh produce. These visits help them learn about a wide variety of fruits and vegetables from around the world, sparking curiosity about different cultures, foods, and where our products come from.
We also visit our local church, supporting children’s understanding of their community, traditions, and the importance of shared spaces.
Alongside these experiences, the children enjoy phonics lessons with Miss Tara, where they develop early literacy skills, sound recognition, and a strong foundation for reading and writing through fun, interactive learning.
These experiences are all part of our commitment to providing rich, real-life learning opportunities that broaden horizons and help every child grow in confidence, knowledge, and understanding of the world.
💛 Learning beyond the nursery, every single day.
