We are currently looking to fill two positions: the role of secretary and the role of group leader for our project Techno.
Check out the descriptions below.
Secretary: we are looking for an enthusiastic person who will be responsible for sending out the weekly newsletter,sending out emails regarding enactus events and meetings, booking rooms, taking minutes, helping out with logistical arrangements and working with the rest of the enactus committee in organising events and workshops.
Techno project leader: Technopreneurship is a school outreach program in which Imperial students teach at schools to foster interests in STEM subjects. The workshops are delivered as fun experiments which aim to show the application of science in day to day life and commercial settings. Typical tasks for a project leader involve but are not limited to:
○ Expanding our teaching outreach to more schools, especially underprivileged ones.
○ Getting sponsors and maintaining relationship with existing sponsors.
○ Leading consistent curriculum review to ensure our curriculum is up to date and relevant.
It will be a challenging yet very rewarding experience. You will also be well supported by the Enactus alumni and sponsor network and the current committee. Additionally you’ll develop your leadership skills, get exclusive access to networking events with our sponsors(Amazon, Barclays, HSBC, EY, VISA etc) and you’ll make a tangible difference in the lives of school kids.
