Enactus Imperial is a diverse group of Imperial College students united by the common goal of develop

With a membership of over 80 IC students, our teams run a wide variety of social enterprise projects designed to make a difference. Over the years our projects have spanned all across the globe, ranging from local London schools to rural villages in Kenya and Tanzania. Our projects create sustainable economic opportunities for disadvantaged communities, focusing on entrepreneurship, market economics, personal success skills, financial literacy, and business ethics.

We are currently looking to fill two positions: the role of secretary and the role of group leader for our project Techno.

Check out the descriptions below.

Secretary: we are looking for an enthusiastic person who will be responsible for sending out the weekly newsletter,sending out emails regarding enactus events and meetings, booking rooms, taking minutes, helping out with logistical arrangements and working with the rest of the enactus committee in organising events and workshops.

Techno project leader: Technopreneurship is a school outreach program in which Imperial students teach at schools to foster interests in STEM subjects. The workshops are delivered as fun experiments which aim to show the application of science in day to day life and commercial settings. Typical tasks for a project leader involve but are not limited to:
○ Expanding our teaching outreach to more schools, especially underprivileged ones.
○ Getting sponsors and maintaining relationship with existing sponsors.
○ Leading consistent curriculum review to ensure our curriculum is up to date and relevant.

It will be a challenging yet very rewarding experience. You will also be well supported by the Enactus alumni and sponsor network and the current committee. Additionally you’ll develop your leadership skills, get exclusive access to networking events with our sponsors(Amazon, Barclays, HSBC, EY, VISA etc) and you’ll make a tangible difference in the lives of school kids.

On the 8th - 9th April, 61 Enactus teams from across the UK will compete in the Enactus UK 2019 National Expo at the ExCeL, London.

This dynamic, energy-filled event will bring together 750 university students and 300 academics and senior UK business leaders for two days of celebration and collaboration of Youth Social Action and Social Enterprise.

This 2-day event is about more than just a competition and includes a variety of activities including our Enterprise & Employability Fair, our Project Exhibition and a multitude of networking luncheons and opportunities.

The best thing is: IMPERIAL ARE IN IT!! Sign up now to see a showcase of university social enterprise and one of the largest Enterprise Fairs in the UK. Also come show your support for our team!

Technopreneurship is an education initiative focused on promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics interest holistically in Y7-Y8 students, by Enactus Imperial.

We are recruiting volunteers to be a part of Technopreneurship and deliver STEM Workshops on Wednesday afternoons from the 1st to the 22nd of May at the Notre Dame School!

Volunteers will be responsible for engaging with our Y7-Y8 students and leading them through interactive STEM workshops and hands on experiments. This is a great opportunity to improve your communication and team building skills and boost your CV! We will provide all the content and training required.

** To deliver these sessions, volunteers need to be available for an induction session on Wednesday the 20th of March from 1-3pm and be available for at least two Wednesday afternoons between the 1st to the 22nd of May.

Imperial's Flagship Innovation Competition, the Venture Catalyst Challenge enables Imperial students and alumni, within three years of graduation, to develop an innovative idea for commercialisation.
Participating in the VCC is your opportunity to turn your innovative idea into a tangible product. Successful applicants will make it through to the programme of masterclasses, coaching and expert advice to supercharge your idea. This will be followed by the finals, which consists of heats for each track (Digital, Consumer and Fintech, Environment, Robotics/AI, Health and Wellbeing, and Social Impact) followed by the Grand Final, where you will have the opportunity to pitch for a share of £80,000!
