🌟🌟We are recruiting! 🌟🌟

Are you interested in starting a career working with children or perhaps you have a few hours spare each day to support us?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and pro-active person to join our friendly team to help our children during lunch times from 11:45 - 1:15 Monday to Friday during term time only.

The main responsibilities will include:

Supporting and supervising children whilst they eat their lunch, encouraging good table manners and healthy eating.

Assisting with serving food and support the children with handwashing

Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment

Ensuring a smooth transition from lunch to afternoon activities.

There is the possibility for increased hours and support with completing qualifications in Childcare. Previous experience of working with children is welcomed but not essential.

Can you help South Cerney Beavers? 😀

They’re desperately looking for some volunteers to keep 1st South Cerney Beavers going, so that our Beavers and those waiting to join, can continue their Scout journey with us.

Our Group is super friendly and flexible. You do not need to commit to each week, perhaps a small group of leaders could rotate leading each week to make the commitment more manageable.

We can support with training, planning, resources, preparing programmes and events.

You are not on your own, and we are with you every step of the way.

If you are interested or know someone who might be please let us know and we can pass your details on.

Good morning - we have reviewed tomorrow's weather forecast and have made the decision to open in the morning until 12. Whilst it does look a few degrees cooler tomorrow it is still going to be hot and the the temperature in our Pre School room particularly does get very warm.

We will try to keep the children cool and in the shade much as possible but please make sure they come in with a high factor sun cream already on and a bottle in their bag incase it needs to be re-applied. They must also have a suitable hat with them.
