Currently we are heavily involved in qualifications within the Justice Sector, Construction and Health and Social Care, we also offer pan-sector qualifications for individuals working in less specialised roles. We consider ourselves to be very much an international organisation having a partner – ProQual Arabia working on our behalf in the Gulf region together with the US and more recently Australia. A new route to professional recognition is now available for learners of the ProQual Level 6 Diploma in Sustainability and Environmental Management!

Learners who complete the ProQual Level 6 Diploma in Sustainability and Environmental Management and have at least five years' experience in construction or the built environment can now progress towards MCIOB membership through recognition from the Chartered Institute of Building, providing a route to achieving Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) status.

CEnv is a globally recognised professional registration that demonstrates environmental expertise, professional credibility and a commitment to sustainability, supporting career progression across a wide range of industries.

In December 2025, Ofqual introduced the Principles Condition, establishing six overarching principles that guide how awarding organisations should operate. These principles reinforce the importance of integrity, transparency, candidate protection, public confidence and delivering qualifications that are fit for purpose.

At ProQual, these principles reflect the way we've always aimed to work supporting our approved centres, maintaining the integrity of our qualifications and protecting learners.

The Principles Condition strengthens these commitments and supports a culture of continuous improvement.

Growing your qualification offer shouldn't create unnecessary complexity.

For many training providers, expanding qualification delivery can involve repeated Direct Claims Status (DCS) approval activity, additional administration, and ongoing costs.

ProQual's Continuous Certification (CC) approach is designed to support centres differently. CC allows centres to claim certificates more independently once quality standards have been consistently demonstrated.

Once achieved, CC can apply across all qualifications within the same level and occupational sector, allowing centres to build on demonstrated quality assurance practices as they grow.
