ProQual Awarding Body is approved by Ofqual to Develop and Award regulated qualifications.

ProQual AB is an Awarding Body that is recognised and approved by Ofqual to develop and award regulated qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. ProQual AB has built up a reputation for providing a high-quality service for Training Providers, Colleges, Employers and for the Voluntary Sector. Our qualifications are designed to help employees who want to progress within their work role and also young people who would have a greater success taking a more vocational route post 14. Our success can be attributed to our staff who bring a wealth of knowledge from various specialist backgrounds. ProQual AB can effectively provide qualifications tailored to your delivery needs. Currently we are heavily involved in qualifications within the Justice Sector, Construction and Health and Social Care, we also offer pan-sector qualifications for individuals working in less specialised roles. We consider ourselves to be very much an international organisation having a partner – ProQual Arabia working on our behalf in the Gulf region together with the US and more recently Australia. We are pleased to announce the launch of the ProQual Level 3 Diploma for Design Draughtsman!

This new Ofqual-regulated qualification has been designed for those working in, or looking to work in, construction design draughting.

The qualification develops the knowledge and practical skills required to produce accurate technical drawings and design documentation, using recognised industry practices and digital design technologies.

It focuses on key areas including technical drawing and manual draughting, specialist technical drawing applications, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), parametric modelling, construction drawing, detailing and design communication, alongside project planning, health and safety and drawing office practice.

Supporting progression into employment and further study within architectural, engineering and construction design environments.

A fantastic morning for a great cause!☕🍰

Last Tuesday, the ProQual team came together for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, with plenty of delicious homemade bakes to enjoy and a raffle with a bottle of ch*****ne up for grabs!

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who baked, donated and took part, we’re delighted to have raised £299.10 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

And congratulations to Suzanne from our Qualification Development team, who was the lucky winner of the raffle!

It was a lovely day of good food, great company and most importantly, raising money for an important cause.

Embedding Ofqual's Principles Condition isn't just about understanding the principles, it's about putting them into practice.

In October, our External Quality Assurance (EQA) network will come together for a dedicated development event with a session focused on the six principles and what they mean in practice.

The session will provide an opportunity to:
• Explore each principle in more detail
• Share good practice and practical approaches
• Discuss how the principles apply to centre quality assurance
• Strengthen consistency across our EQA network

The demand for skills is increasing and training providers have an important role to play in meeting it.

Skills England’s Annual Skills Report 2026 projects that demand for priority occupations will increase by 24% between 2025 and 2035, creating around 1.8 million additional jobs.

For training providers, this presents a clear opportunity to support learners and employers as workforce needs evolve.
