Blue 3 have had a lovely first week back. They have been busy with exploring their new routines and enjoying lots of opportunities for play, exploration, and discovery.
They have enjoyed exploring tuff trays, as well as experiencing lots of different textures and sensory input.

Welcoming our brand new learners to Glenwood! Our newest and littlest learners from Yellow 3 enjoyed their first ever visit to the sensory room this week

Welcome back Green 4, we have had a lovely return to the year, which has included a range of fun activities including todays morning work of finger painting to begin our autumn display

Yellow 1 have made a Bee-rilliant start to the new school year. We have helped bee learn how to make a good choice and painted some bees and their hive. Well done!

Blue 4 have been enjoying exploring different action toys whilst settling into their new classroom. They've made some choices and used colouring pencils to make marks on paper.

Yellow 5 took part in their first TACPAC session of the year Monday morning. Everyone expressed their likes and dislikes very clearly using their vocalisations, facial expressions, and body language. This intensive interaction was a great way for our fabulous new class staff and young people to get to know each other. We are already looking forward to our next session on Friday.

Settling in to Green 1

Over the summer holidays, our senior leaders have been working hard on our School Improvement Plan. They’ve identified six key priorities and will be sharing more information with you all early in September, including details about our core universal offer for therapies.

Our dedicated site team have also been working incredibly hard across the school, with lots of exciting improvements taking place. These include a newly laid driveway, painting and decorating, installing equipment at The Rise, making our newly fenced back field a safe and secure space, and much, much more!

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back and sharing all the exciting things happening across our school. 🌟
