1:1 Correspondence fun with one of my littlest learners on Friday. She had to match the digits on one jigsaw piece with the number of items on another, like a puzzle. 😊 🙌🏻 🧩 We used our subitising skills so that we didn’t have to count every item.

It’s always bitter-sweet saying goodbye to students. 🥹 Whilst ‘L’ is a joy to teach , she is very much ready to take on Year 8 maths and I know she will continue to make great progress!

A huge well done to one of my littlest students on achieving a fantastic score in her Phonics Screening Check. Scoring 35/40, despite missing a lot of school due to illness over the past couple of years, is absolutely fantastic!
