This morning, we said a final goodbye to our incredible Year 11 students. We kicked things off with a special Head of Year assembly, taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane with photos and videos from the last five years (cue the tears and laughs!).
We wrapped up the celebrations with some well-deserved ice creams before they walked through the gates as students one last time.
Class of 2026, you have been amazing. We wish you the absolute best of luck in your next chapters and future careers!

Well done to our Year 7 and Year 8 Boys Athletics team who took part in the Solihull Super Sixes event this week. Students took part in a number of events including 100m, 200m, relay, shot put, javelin and long jump. The team demonstrated resilience and determination in all of their events and represented Langley so well!

Well done to Jess who attended the 10yrs anniversary of English Tumbling and competed in 'English Silver Champs 2026' recently. She put out her 3 passes with a mix of Flicks, Whips, Twists, Doubles and Stoi's. Jess' fantastic performances secured her a Bronze Medal for England, even more impressive was that Jess was competing against girls up to 4 years older than her!

Jess has now secured a place at the British Inter-Regional Champs in July 26 at Utilita Arena.

Langley School Design Technology ran an upcycling craft stall at Oak Cottage PFSA's summer event on Saturday - part of our ongoing collaboration with Mrs Newman, DT Lead at OC. Children (and adults) made soft toys and puppets from upcycled odd socks and found materials, supporting both school's Climate Action Plan's aim to create awareness of the environmental impact of the way we choose to use resources.
