2022: Another great year of success ! β¨β¨
So proud of my pupils and for achieving results beyond school predictions.
I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to teach you and to optimise your growth. There were some big challenges this year such as -some teachers at school who tore you down either with their comments, extremely harsh marking or inadequate teaching ( I'm only taking about some particular ones). However, you kept working hard and stayed focused ππΌ
Here are some of the highlights:
-a pupil from a grammar school was told by his school teacher that he would never achieve more than a 5 but he achieved a grade 9!
- some pupils from a well know school in Solihull were told that they would fail their English GCSEs, a few days before their exams, but they achieved grade 8s, one pupil is 2 marks short off a 9.
- A pupil who scored a grade 3 in their Dec mocks ( another school in Solihull) achieved a grade 8 and a 7 in the exams.
- A pupil from Hongkong who scored a 3/4 in their December mocks achieved a grade 8
- A pupil from a well known girls' grammar school was underachieving due to lack of teaching, materials and not being familiar with exam requirements, achieved a 9 from a 5.
- A pupil achieved grade 8s from 3s in 4/5 months : their confidence had been torn down by their class teacher, she didn't have an understanding of exam skills, materials or any requirements.
I could go on and on . . . it's obvious that I'm very proud of each and everyone of you and I'm beyond impressed by your determination and hard work β€οΈβ€οΈ
