A little moment of wonder in our garden today..

As autumn begins to settle in, this little robin reminded us that there is still so much beauty and wonder to be found in the everyday. Childhood deserves a slower pace, time to stop, notice, watch and wonder. To see the excitement in a tiny bird visiting the feeder, to feel the leaves crunch beneath little feet and to notice the seasons changing around us.

When we create spaces that spark curiosity and give children plenty of opportunities to be outdoors in nature, we allow them to experience the magic in the simplest of things. Because childhood isn’t a race. Sometimes the greatest learning happens when we simply give children the time and space to wonder..

Saying goodbye is always one of the hardest parts of being a childminder.

But how lucky am I to be part of their precious early years and watch them grow. Now it’s time for a new adventure at school… and I can’t wait to hear all about it when they come back to visit in the holidays.
