Elder abuse is a growing but often hidden issue.
It can be physical, emotional, financial, or caused by neglect, and it affects people in every community – including here in Solihull.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is about shining a light on this issue and showing that abuse of older people is never acceptable.
Please support our campaign by raising funds and awareness so we can continue to be here for older people who are vulnerable to abuse.
Either make a donation yourself or organise a purple-themed fundraiser to show your support of the campaign.
Why not do one kind thing along with your donation and share with others to encourage them to do the same?
For full details, purple fundraising ideas, and a free fundraising pack, visit www.ageuk.org.uk/solihull/weaad
Thank you for joining us in standing up to elder abuse in Solihull!
