National Fresh Veggies Day is celebrated every June 16, falling right in the middle of National Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month.
The day encourages families to try new produce, increase daily intake, and make vegetables fun for children by getting them involved in the kitchen.
In assembly today we named vegetables, talked about how they are grown and found out what makes them good for us.
At Mill Lodge we all have THE RIGHT TO BE HEALTHY.

Calling choir members!
Links for choir to practice the songs they have been singing in rehearsals for our upcoming concert on 22nd June are on the school newsletter this week. Children will have received a copy of the lyrics this week so please encourage them to spend some time learning and getting familiar with them. If your child is interested in performing with us but has not yet handed in a letter then please let school know.
