Little Bears Childcare

The last week has been so emotional 😢 having to say goodbye to these little bears 🐻 normally I say goodbye when they start school, but I’m the one starting school and returning to teaching.
I will miss them all so much and I’ve loved watching them grow and learn new things, thank you for choosing me to be their childminder.

The past 4 years have been amazing and I’m sad to finish but it’s time for a change.

Over the last two weeks we have been doing lots of Easter activities, we have been making cakes, colouring, making cards, singing songs and playing with Easter sensory trays. The best part for everyone was the Easter egg hunts and eating chocolate!! I hope everyone has a lovely Easter 🐻

Over the past few weeks we have been busy making Mother’s Day cards, celebrating world book day by dressing up and visiting the library, some of us have been for muddy walks, some have been to the park and we’ve enjoyed playing with friends too 🐻

Last week we ventured to the farm, we saw pigs, cows, sheep, ducks and chickens. We talked about what they were eating and the sounds they made. We’ve also been to soft play and made Welsh cakes for st David’s day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿(which the parents enjoyed too)!

We’ve been out for a walks this week, we loved walking in the mud and looking for puddles. The rain has meant we’ve been inside a lot too, but we have had fun dressing up, playing with playdough, doing puzzles and dancing.

January has been very cold, we’ve had lots of days inside to stay warm but we’ve been out on a few adventures too.

Well we made it to the Christmas holidays 🥳
we have had a busy December, completing our Christmas crafts and doing lots of Christmas themed activities.

The first two weeks of November have gone so fast, we have been on walks, visited friends, sang songs in the library and of course done lots of playing with our friends. 🐻

Halloween week was fun, we did some spooky crafts, read stories about monsters, decorated cakes, carved pumpkins and did some crazy dancing.
