5 years ago we were performing our 'A Trip to the Movies' Show - 4 times over!🎬

Most of these super cute faces still attend our classes today and we feel super lucky to still be teaching them. It's amazing to look back at everything they have achieved🥰

🌟BORN 2 PERFORM🌟GRAND FINALS🌟

Following on from our successful qualification from Born2Perform in Solihull in November, we were delighted to attend their GRAND FINALS competition in January, bringing all 2024 qualifiers from across the U.K. to battle it out to become National Champions.

Having only started competitions in June, we were thrilled to even qualify, but our students went above and beyond to give us a fantastic day. The icing on the cake was receiving placings for 3 of our teams!!

What better way to end the year than with our DANCER OF THE YEAR 2024

There are so many reasons why Charlotte is fully deserving of this award.
Charlotte is the epitome of hard work, 100% commitment is always guaranteed in any class she attends. Charlotte ensures she takes on every ounce of information provided to her, whether it be learning a new step, or correcting an existing one. This exquisite attention to detail has helped Charlotte’s technique develop to an excellent level across all dance genres, producing the fabulous all around dancer that she has become.

Charlotte is completely determined to achieve and everything is always faced with a can do attitude, there is simply no challenge that she will not face. Her determination has seen her excel in taking on complex routines and keeping up with students who are many years senior to her.

To match Charlotte’s strength in technique, we’ve had to work on performance & confidence in sharing enjoyment with the audience. Over the last year, Charlotte’s overall performance has taken a huge leap and it is an absolute delight to see her engaged in every second of showcasing her dancing to the maximum.

Along with all her achievements, Charlotte is a conscientious class member, always eager to help others in any way she can. She understands that alot of what we do at Allure is down to team work and she is fully committed to her class mates, boosting everyone as part of the team.

Charlotte, you’ve already achieved so much for someone so young, but the future is so very bright. We can’t wait to see everything it holds for you. For now, keep giving your dancing everything you’ve got and the rest will fall in to place.

🌟RISING STAR AWARD🌟ELODIE 🌟

Since Elodie joined Allure at age 5, her joy for dance has been evident. Elodie has always been a hard working member of Allure, but as the years have passed, she has developed the desire to improve further, continuously practising in her own time at home and returning to class the following week having finessed her skills. Elodie has challenged herself this year by adding new styles to broaden her dance repertoire and her steady improvement has not gone unnoticed by our teachers.

Elodie’s love of dance is infectious, but even more special is her caring attitude and beautiful nature. The encouragement Elodie shows towards her classmates is inspiring to see, she’s always the first to help her peers with a routine or congratulate them for their exam achievements. Kindness and support for others will always go a long way.

Elodie, we love to watch you dance & see how much it means to you. Keep believing you can and there is no doubt you will! Continue to rise like the star you are🌟

🌟PERFORMANCE AWARD🌟DARCEY🌟

Darcey has always been a firecracker since age 4. Her ability for all things dance & gymnastics is outstanding, but knowing you have such potential can also lead to an overwhelming pressure to achieve.
Everyone’s dance journey is different, and many will face challenges along the way, but we will always stand by our dancers and work with them individually to ensure the very best for them.
Everything we offer at Allure is always optional so we can cater for all our dancers. Darcey is always keen to take part in every opportunity, but sometimes it can all become a bit much, despite how desperate she is to achieve.
Over the years, we’ve learned how to best support Darcey, setting small individual goals which have progressed to her achieving all she has wished too. Self confidence plays such a big part, but by taking things one step at a time, Darcey is seeing what we see and is believing in her ability more and more.
We are still taking each challenge as they come and will always be led by what Darcey wants to do, but by Darcey giving her all and taking things at her pace, she has achieved an incredible amount of things within the past 18months including:
Dance Exams, performances in Knowle & Dorridge Day, taking part in 3 competitions, our annual show & performing at Disneyland Paris!🤩

Darcey, you are a role model for showing what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. We are so proud of you for everything you’ve overcome so far and for all you will continue to overcome in the future. We have every belief in you and hope by receiving this award you have every belief in yourself too. Whatever the challenge, you’ve got this💪🏻
