The difference theatre can have on someone is personal and special. Everyone’s experience of the theatre will be different whether you are performing yourself or watching others shine; it will take you on a rollercoaster of a journey.

Personally theatre saved my life, when I was younger I struggled with my emotions and as a result this affected my behaviour. One of my teachers in Year 3 suggested that I should get involved in the end of year production as the Wicked Witch (some may say this role was well suited at the time!)

The moment I received my first applause has stuck with me forever. I continued to perform and have loved every single role I have had the honour of performing.

Now I have created my own platform for young people, regardless of any challenges they may face, where they are able to express themselves freely, gain confidence and ultimately share the love of theatre! 🎭✨
