We will collect tinned and dried food donations on the day to add to our community food bank, so pop and extra tin in your basket in the supermarket or raid your cupboards the night before…I promise to remind you beforehand, though! 😜

Hello!👋it’s lovely to meet you! I’m Annabelle, and I’m honoured to Chair the newly formed PTA at Hockley Heath!

My children are Eric (Year 3️⃣), Penny (Year 2️⃣) and Rory (Reception). Having spent a number of years at the school now, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know many parents and teachers, and witnessing the incredible dedication and passion we all share for our children’s education.

My mission as PTA Chair is to infuse fun into fundraising with a fresh perspective, creating exciting and memorable events for the children at Hockley Heath, whilst providing the school with additional funding to ensure that all our children have the support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

There are so many different roles to take on in the PTA, even if you don’t have much time to spare! If you’re interesting in joining us, please get in touch! We’d be so glad to have you onboard!!

Welcome back to the Summer Term! ☀️ It doesn’t feel like it out there yet, but 🤞warm summer days and after-school trips for🍦ice cream🍦 are just around the corner! 🙌

This week, we’ll be introducing one of our core team of PTA ‘staff’ each day.

The PTA wouldn't be a success without the many wonderful helpers that take part during our events or behind the scenes, purchasing, storing, wrapping, etc. So I want to give a shout-out to them, too!

Sunday Evening Task!

Get your envelope ready to hand in tomorrow (Monday 18th March) to take part in our Easter Egg Hunt this Thursday 21st March, after school!

£3 in envelope with your child’s name and year group on the front!

Get the pyjamas out and pack their favourite book! It’s World Book Day tomorrow. That’s Thursday for everyone knee-deep in the week and juggling all the clubs, events and parties ahead.

Don’t worry; at least Mum’s get spoiled this weekend! Thursday is ALSO our Mother’s Day Gift Room. We have a mountain of beautiful wrapped presents for the children to thoughtfully choose from! 🥰💕🩷

Half term is over, and the village is filled with the sound of kids playing and having fun in the playground once again!

We are starting to look forward to our 🌸Mother’s Day Gift Room 🌸 on March 7th during school hours.

This Friday is the DEADLINE for getting your envelopes with money into your form teachers!

On the day, your children will be taken to the gift room, where they can choose gifts for you. Once they have selected them, the gifts will be wrapped 🎁 and labelled for them. 🏷️

I know the kids are going to love choosing gifts for you all! 🙌
