The Den at Coppice Junior School

The Den is a before and after school club based on site at Coppice Junior School. We also run a holiday club for the whole community for children age 7-11
Coppice before & after school club operates from an outdoor classroom and benefit from the schools excellent facilities, such as an adventure playground, large playing fields, tyre park, ICT suite and school hall. We offer permanent and ad-hoc places for children aged 7-11 years. Our provision aims to offer children good play opportunities as set out in 'Best Play' through the seven play objectives.

Although The Den & school are closed to the majority, some key worker children & staff remain! So today we thought we’d show how proud we are of our NHS workers by painting some of the Den windows! Think we did a good job!?! 🌈

Schools, colleges and early years settings to close Schools will close from Monday, except for children of key workers and vulnerable children

Stick Watch time again!!! I’m getting braver & cleaned out the sticks for the second time (Mrs Webb normally does it!!)
We counted them back in and we’re delighted to discover we still have 20!!! Longest stick insect is now about 14cms long!!!!!

Some of our children wanted to try a chair trick! All four begin by sitting on a chair, then each chair is removed one at a time . . This was the result 😂
