There are more roles involved in working with drinking water products than you might realise.
From procurement and engineering to developer services and operations, many job functions influence how materials are selected, installed and maintained.
The Products for Drinking Water scheme is designed for these roles, providing essential awareness of Regulation 31 (England and Wales) and Regulation 33 (Scotland and Northern Ireland) and the risks of non-compliance.
It helps individuals understand their responsibilities and supports organisations in maintaining safe, compliant water systems.

Supporting awareness of critical regulations across the water sector.
Regulation 31 (England and Wales) and Regulation 33 (Scotland and Northern Ireland) is critical to protecting drinking water quality. It ensures that materials and products used in clean water systems meet strict safety requirements.
Understanding where these requirements apply, and how to work in line with them, is essential for organisations and training providers.
The EUSR Products for Drinking Water scheme supports this by providing awareness of Regulation 31 requirements.
By strengthening understanding across the sector, the scheme supports compliance.

Regulations play a critical role in protecting drinking water quality.
Regulation 31 (England and Wales) and Regulation 33 (Scotland and Northern Ireland) ensure that all materials and products used in clean water systems meet strict safety standards.
Without proper understanding, there is a risk of non-compliance and potential impact on public health.
The EUSR Products for Drinking Water scheme supports this by providing awareness of these regulations.
It helps individuals and organisations understand where regulations apply and how to work in line with them.
This is about protecting water quality and demonstrating responsible practice across the sector.
