Today is the final day to deliver SHEA (2023/24).

From tomorrow, SHEA (2026) will be the only SHEA programme available for delivery.

As part of the transition to SHEA (2026) and the new EUSR CSCS card process, trainers have until 13 November 2026 to submit results for SHEA (2023/24) courses delivered before today's deadline.

Managing multiple card applications has become easier for Trainers.

To support the introduction of the new EUSR CSCS cards, we've made improvements to QuartzWeb.

With Combined Claims, trainers can now apply for multiple EUSR CSCS cards in batches, making the application process quicker and easier to manage.

The EUSR CSCS Skilled Worker Card is for individuals who have achieved the required level of competence through training, qualifications and industry experience.

Available across a wide range of occupations, including:
🔹 Cable Jointer
🔹 Overhead Linesperson
🔹 Substation Fitter
🔹 Smart Meter Installer
🔹 Drainage Network Operative
🔹 Network Construction Operations (NCO)

Depending on the registration, cards are issued as either a Gold Skilled Worker CSCS Card or Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card.

Individuals must hold a valid EUSR SHEA registration in order to apply for this card.

📅 30 September 2026 is the final day that SHEA (2023/24) can be delivered.

As the sector transitions to SHEA (2026) and the new EUSR CSCS card arrangements, now is the time to ensure any remaining SHEA (2023/24) training is scheduled and completed.

Don't forget, results for training delivered before 1 October can be submitted until 13 November 2026.

The EUSR CSCS Trainee Card is for individuals working towards full occupational competence.

Trainee cards are available across a range of utilities occupations, including:
🔹 Cable Jointer's Attendant Trainee
🔹 NCO Gas Trainee
🔹 NCO Water Trainee

The EUSR CSCS Apprentice Card is for individuals undertaking a recognised apprenticeship programme.

It shows you're developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed for your chosen occupation. The card is free of charge and remains valid for the duration of your apprenticeship.

Individuals must hold a valid EUSR SHEA registration to apply for this card.

New in QuartzWeb: Combined Claims.

We've introduced Combined Claims in QuartzWeb, allowing trainers to apply for multiple EUSR CSCS cards in a single submission.

There are currently two SHEA programme options available:

✅ SHEA (2023/24) Available until 30 September 2026. Registrations will continue to be issued with the CSCS logo.

✅ SHEA (2026) Available now. Registrations are not issued with a CSCS logo. Individuals, or trainers on behalf of individuals, must apply for the EUSR CSCS card that best matches their role.

Whichever route you choose, a valid SHEA registration remains an important requirement for working across the utilities sector.
