Our little chefs are back in the kitchen! 🧑🏼‍🍳

Our children have officially started their Pudding & Pie extra-curricular cooking classes, and they’ve been having so much fun getting creative in the kitchen! From mixing and measuring to exploring ingredients and creating their very own tasty treats, our little chefs are developing practical skills, confidence, independence and of course… having lots of fun along the way! 👏🏼

🍁 Our New Autumn Menu Has Arrived! 🍽️

Our brand-new Autumn Menu has started this week, lovingly planned and prepared by Ellie and our fantastic chef Joanne! We’ve been busy creating delicious, nutritious and balanced meals packed with seasonal flavours and comforting autumn favourites, helping our children explore new tastes, textures and ingredients. From homemade tomato soup and butternut squash mac & cheese to sweet potato shepherd’s pie and homemade ham & cheese pinwheels, there’s lots of goodness on the menu! Healthy tummies, happy children! 🍎

They’ve enjoyed investigating the different leaves, pinecones, natural materials and wooden resources, using the magnifying glasses to look closely and discover new textures, colours and shapes. Last night, we came together for our Awards Night to celebrate the dedication, hard work and incredible achievements of our wonderful staff team! From going above and beyond for our children, to supporting colleagues, creating inspiring learning experiences and bringing so much passion to everything they do our team truly deserves to be celebrated.

🌈 Exploring Prime Colours Through Our Rainbow Fish

Our Pre-School children have been exploring the prime colours red, yellow and blue through this beautiful, hands-on rainbow fish activity! Using pipettes and coloured water, the children carefully experimented with transferring and mixing the different colours onto the fish’s scales. They were encouraged to make predictions, observe what happened when colours combined and talk about the new colours they discovered.

This sensory experience supported fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, colour recognition and early scientific thinking, while encouraging the children to explore cause and effect through their own ideas and investigations.

A wonderful opportunity for our children to experiment, create and discover the magic of colour! ❤️💛💙
