What an amazing day we had today!! Our students started their morning slightly earlier at TT today before heading to Resorts World to perform their Christmas songs next to the huge Christmas tree.
We are beyond proud of each and every one of you. It was a long day but you kept your Christmas spirit bright and delivered not just one but TWO fabulous performances.
Our soloists excelled and deserved their rapturous applause and we love seeing our students confidence grow with each new experience.
A huge thank you to our wonderful teachers Craig, Amy and Janine who were there today as always to support our students and always go above and beyond with their commitment. Also our wonderful centre manager Laura and our fab ex student Pippa who was a great support to our juniors.

🔧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦-𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 🔧 – Theatretrain teaches problem-solving by challenging students to think on their feet, adapt, and find creative solutions to unexpected obstacles.

🎃👻 Happy Halloween to all our Theatretrain pupils taking part in Halloween events! 👻🎃 We hope you have a fantastic time celebrating!
Here are some spooky facts to enjoy: -
🕰️ Origins: Halloween dates back 2,000 years to the ancient Celts celebrating Samhain on October 31st. -
📜 Spelling: Halloween is often spelled incorrectly! The correct spelling is Hallowe’en—it’s short for All Hallows Eve. -
🌕 Full Moon: A full moon on Halloween is rare, occurring only 3-4 times a century! The last one was in 2020! -
🍬 Trick-or-Treating: This fun tradition dates back to Samhain when people left food for spirits. It evolved into performances for treats! -
🎃 Pumpkin Colours: While orange is common, pumpkins can be green, white, red, and even blue!
Wishing you a spooktacular Halloween filled with fun and creativity!

Professional Training in the Performing Arts for Children aged 4-18yrs
Theatretrain provides Professional Training in the Performing Arts for young people aged 4 - 18. Whether you have a burning ambition to perform on the stage or just want to have a good time, Theatretrain is bursting with opportunity. Our weekly drama, dance and singing classes are just that; exciting, challenging, rewarding and fun, and you meet some great people. Everyone enjoys the training sessions and one thing all our students take away with them is a level of confidence they would never have believed possible. If you choose they can perform in our local, regional and West End shows and if they are really keen, with our help and their commitment they could even perform a solo. Theatretrain offers a world of opportunity. Many of our students have performed on more West End stages than most professional actors.
Our TT Minis classes are fun classes in the performing arts for 4-5 year olds and they run every Saturday including half terms. Minis 1 runs from 9.45am-11.15am and Minis 2 runs from 11.20am- 12.50pm. From January 2019 we are introducing our Minis Passports where they can chart their progress in class by receiving a fun stamp for each page completed. The pages list skills in the performing arts that are suitable for their age. Once they complete their passport they are then ready to progress into our main school and will have the necessary skills (more confidence, able to learn a routine, speak alone on stage, learn some lines etc…) to take with them. The cost is £10.50 for 30 minutes dance, 30 minutes drama and 30 minutes singing. The Minis have the option to take part in internal shows of work to parents and local shows (such as The Core Theatre Solihull or The Crescent Theatre) They can also perform at local festivals and carnivals. Our Mini's parents are welcome to stay in our parents area on site for the 90 minutes the first week and then drop off and leave the site the following week. We currently have spaces in these classes.
Our TT Main school is for 6-18 year olds and runs every Saturday including half terms from 10am-1pm. The cost for the main school is £21 for an hour of dance, an hour of singing and an hour of acting. (50% Sibling discount is only available if both pupils are in the main school). The main school take part in local (The Core Theatre, Solihull), National (West End, Royal Albert Hall) and European (Disneyland Paris) performances and festivals all over the world. The main school is split into 3 classes 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years. We currently have space in all our classes.
All classes (Minis & Main) run during term times including half term at Ulverley School, Rodney Road, Solihull B92 8RZ. The carpark for the school is currently closed so please park on Rodney Road and make your way to the main pedestrian entrance. Once you go through the gate walk round to your right and you will come to our reception.
