Why oh why oh why!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is many, many, many observations that you can get from early years children creating a card when they have the freedom to decide what they want to do!

Are we not telling children that THEIR thoughts THEIR choices are not valid???????

Are we not showing them that we as adults are better than them??????

Notice at the bottom of this ordering card is a statement....

Something not right with your child's design?

Yes!!!!! EVERYTHING!!!!!

Maybe Harvey didn't want to do a Christmas card with his hand print painted by the teacher! Maybe Harvey wanted to paint a space rocket, a snail, a pumpkin, a circle, a spider, use some ribbon......!!!!

He wasn't asked!!!

Why do we feel the need to have these craptivities! Oh my gosh!!!!!

We really need to start listening to our children!

On a recent talk I listened too did you know that by the age of 4 imagination of creativity is being lost!!!!!

Imagination is everything! Creativity is the best way to support this! The freedom to allow children to express themselves how they wish really needs to be saved!!!!!

This needs to be added to Books!

Today we said Goodbye to some of our Preschool Children, we had a Dinosaur Party and lots of party games. We all had a great day and we wish you all the very best in all of your new adventures.
