What an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING NIGHT that was!! I think next year will be a sell out! Thank you to our sponsors Hampton Group, Aspire Homes, Key Construction and DWJ Construction, with your help we raised A LOT of money for the school. Special mention to The Little Blue Balloon who made the room look magnificent ❤️

It’s Quiz Night this Friday. Get your pals together for this fun evening!! We have 30 tickets remaining so be quick. £10 per person and this includes a yummy chilli and your entertainment for the night. Cash bar selling drinks and snacks!


We look forward to welcoming you at our Christmas fair today. Doors open at 11AM. Please bring cash with you as most stalls will NOT have card readers.💷💰

Don't forget our first event after this half term holiday is FunFest Friday on 16th June straight after dad's afternoon at school. Join us for fun and games, food and drink from 3.30pm on Friday June 16th! And don't forget to start filling jars to donate to our bottle tombola. Every donation gets a golden ticket to use on a tombola stall or hook a duck! Donations accepted from Friday June 9th. Hope to see you there!


🤴Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday at 12.30 for the King’s Coronation Celebration 👑

We are looking for some volunteers to help for hour slots with the PTA refreshment stand - 11.30 for set up, 12.30 and 1.30 to help on stall, 2.30 for clear up - please email [email protected] if you can help.

🧺🌳We are working closely with the school Eco-council who are incredibly passionate in reducing plastic waste created from our events. We would kindly ask when you bring your picnic on Friday if possible please bring your own reuseable cup. This can be used to purchase drinks from our stall.

🥂🍭A selection of beers, fizz, wine, soft drinks, crisps, ice lollies and sweets will be available to buy. Cash is preferable but there will be card machines available on the day.

⭐️All the profits raised go directly back to the school.

‼️‼️‼️Parents' Association AGM is being held on Monday 24th April at 7.30pm in the Key Stage 2 Hall at the school‼️‼️‼️
At the AGM, we will be voting in the key positions of Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary as well as reviewing our achievements over the last 12 months and looking ahead to the coming year. All DPS parents are welcome to join us and If you would like more information, please do get in touch.


Sadly our clothing donations point by the Hanbury Road entrance is now closed. The company who used to collect, sort and distribute the clothes on bahalf of the PTA is no longer operating.

We are looking for a new organisation to work with but until we can find one, please do not use the donation point.

And the answer is.... All of the above! Come and join us for this fun event which has become a DPS tradition! Come along as a team or join a team when you get there - the quiz includes rounds on all kinds of topics plus video and music rounds as well as games of chance. We'd love to see you there. Tickets on sale now!

The PTA is looking forward to the annual Quiz Night on Friday 3rd February in the Key Stage 2 School Hall. The doors will open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

Please join us in groups, couples or singles with the maximum team size of 10. Tickets are £10 and include a delicious Chilli (beef or veggie). There will also be a cash bar and snacks available.

Tickets are limited to 140 so please buy them early, via the link below, to avoid disappointment.

It promises to be a really good night with Quiz Masters Maty B & Mike Mitic. Thank you for your continued support!

Thank you so much to all of our wonderful volunteers for making this great event possible, from teachers who gave up their time at the weekend to serve food or manage our grotto, to mums who facepainted for three hours straight - we appreciate you all! Thanks to everyone who came along to join in the fun and raise money for our wonderful school! Updates on money raised to come - watch this space......


Looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Christmas Fair starting at 12pm - 3pm this afternoon - Saturday 3rd December! Lots of festive fun to be had!!! Please bring cash as we may only have one card payment machine available for food only (technology depending!). Entrance is £1 per adult, kids are free and an example of the stalls/prices we have available are:
Santa's Grotto - £2.50 per child (including wrapped gift)
Tombolas - £1 for three tickets
Used books and toys - 50p - £5
Face painting and tattoos - £1
Sweets and hot chocolate cones - £1-£2.50
Year 6 games and stalls - £1 for 3 gos
Lucky dip - 50p
Christmas crafts - 50p - £1

Please come along and enjoy the fair! (please like and share for those not on our page!) Thank you so much for all your donations and for all who are volunteering and attending today. Money raised is going towards a special project for the school libraries.


Just a reminder that our Christmas Fayre set up begins tomorrow - please come along if you have an hour or two to spare:
Friday December 2nd: meet at KS2 reception for two shifts 9am-11am or 1pm-3pm during the school day - come along for all or part of one or both! We will be labelling tombolas, making sweet cones, and decorating our Grotto! From 3:30pm - 5:30pm we will be setting up classrooms ready for the event, so please also join us then if you can!


Thanks for all the donations so far - lots of toys, books and jumpers coming in to make some great stalls! We still need bottles for our bottle tombola - wine, beer, spirits, shampoo, sauces - please bring them in! And of course we'd love to see more decorated jars - and golden tickets are at reception for you if you bring one in! Finally don't forget it is non-uniform on Thursday 1st December in return for bringing in your donation for our popular chocolate tombola!


We are very short on volunteers for the Christmas Fayre next Saturday and need at least 30 people to come forward to help for an hour or more on the day to be able to manage all the stalls. We welcome people bringing children along to help. Please get in touch if you are able to lend a hand - [email protected] - any time on Saturday 3rd December between 11:30am and 3:30pm.

Christmas season has officially begun at DPS PTA! Our Christmas Fayre is Saturday December 3rd from 12pm-3pm - look out for lots of information on donations, helping and more in the weekly news and on this page!


A date to pencil into your diaries, the Key Stage 2 disco will be on Friday 11th November. More details to follow....


After a few delays we'll be holding our first PTA meeting of the school year on Monday. All parents from the school are welcome to join us in the KS2 hall at 7pm to find out who we are, what we do and what we've got planned in the coming months. We hope to see you there!
