Exciting times!

We've had some exciting additions to the playground this week as part of our OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning CIC scheme!

Chalks and carboard boxes, a digging area and fancy dress are just some of the activities making play times fun and more creative. Our children are developing vital skills such as resilience and creativity outside the classroom, which are transferred to the classroom setting.

Another big change this week has been allowing all children to mix and play together across year groups. Watching our younger pupils being mentored and supported by older children has been a joy and a true reflection of our Bentley Heath community ethos.

We're excited to see further changes to our play times in the new year and thank our fabulous Bentley Heath School PTA for funding this!

Looking forward to seeing pretty lights and Father Christmas this Thursday!
