Year 11 After School Revision Sessions- Spring Term 🤓

Recently, our students were told about a great opportunity by their art teacher Miss Barbour! 😁

Capture the Year: Smart Education Calendar Competition 2025 Encouraging our students to unleash their creativity by designing artwork for a chance to be featured in their 2025 calendar. The best part?
Student Prizes:
• 12 Winning Designs (one for each calendar month)
• £20 Voucher for each winner (choice of Amazon or Smyths Toys)
• Showcase their artwork in a calendar used throughout the year

The entries were sent off and we are delighted to announce that two of our talented students, Khadija R (March) and Billy W (April) were selected to win a prize and feature in the 2025 calendar!

Here they are receiving their prize from Graham Smart Education and we will share a picture of the calendar when we receive them. Well done guys 🥳

Monday 6th January - Friday 10th January
Time: 3.00 – 4.00pm
Students must bring the appropriate PE kit for the activity that they are attending:
• Shin pads & football boots will be needed for football on grass
• Shin pads and trainers will be needed for football on the Astroturf
• Gum shields & football boots will be needed for Rugby
Students should go to the appropriate changing room for their activity and get changed as quickly as possible so that clubs can start on time. No jewellery is to be worn during extracurricular clubs and phones are not permitted. They must be left locked in the changing rooms

Last Thursday some parents had the pleasure of listening to some of our most talented musicians in our annual Christmas Concert.
Here is a snippet of the talent they saw 😎🎹🎤🎸🪇

Some of our students really got into the Christmas spirit on the last day of term. We have Bailey B as Sponge Bob, Elvis K as Santa and Jacob K and the Grinch. Brilliant 🤣

The year 7s have been learning about the changes made by William the Conqueror to England. Some of the students have gone above and beyond creating fantastic Motte and Bailey castles for the castle building competition.
